'WHY DID HE EVER LEAVE?!'

Towie fans left hot under the collar as hunky Charlie King returns and whips off his shirt to show off his new ripped bod

TOWIE fans were left VERY hot under the collar as a familiar face popped up this evening - with a super hot bod.

Yes, Charlie King was back and looking better than ever as he enjoyed a chat with pal Gemma Collins.

The 31-year-old, who was previously linked to Gemma, left the show back in 2013 to "move on to other things".

But tonight viewers were thrilled as the Towie favourite returned to screens - and even whipped off his shirt to show off his ridiculously ripped bod.

Gemma couldn't take her eyes off her ex as she grinned and told him: "You look gorgeous... you look ripped."

He then told her she also looked gorgeous before the pair talked about how he would help her lose weight to increase the likelihood of her IVF being successful.

If course, it wasn't too long before Gemma told him to take his top off.

He did as she asked and revealed his rippling muscles, prompting Gemma's eyes to glaze over.

She said:  "Unbelievable...I'm so glad I shared a kiss with you once."

And fans were wishing that they as lucky as she had been.

One gasped: "Charlie has such a fit bod😍😍😍 #TOWIE."

While another exclaimed: "Why did Charlie ever leave this show!?!?!?!? I was obsesseddddd with him back in the days. 🙈 #towie."

A third commented: "Here he is!! It's always nice to see a familiar face!! Welcome back Charlie!! 😜🙋💯 #TOWIE @OnlyWayIsEssex @CharlieKing85 😘😆."
