‘THEY’RE PEOPLE WITH KIDS’

Geordie Shore’s Nathan Henry and Zahida Allen reveal they receive ‘vile’ racist abuse

GEORDIE Shore stars Nathan Henry and Zahida Allen have spoken out against the “vile” racists who target them on social media.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun Online the pair from the MTV reality show revealed that not only were they shocked by the “disgusting” messages they receive, but that they were from adults who have children.

Zahida, whose scenes have not even aired yet, has already been subjected to an onslaught of abuse.

She said: “It’s already started, some of the stuff I try not to look at, but some things are so disgusting you can’t ignore them.

“There was this one woman who persistently messaged me over the course of three months after midnight, she had kids so I’m assuming that she was waiting until her kids and husband were in bed, then she’d go on Instagram and start calling me p***.’

“That’s so shocking to think that these people who are racially abusing young girls on social media are actually responsible for raising children.”

Nathan, who joined in 2015 and was the show’s first bisexual cast member, has also had to deal with racist and homophobic messages.

He said: “I’m so shocked that the majority of the people abusing us are adults with families with kids, and not young people who don’t know better.

“I get loads of racist and homophobic messages, calling me the N-word and a f*****, and I’ll click on the profiles and it’ll be grown men posing with their three kids.

“I just look at them and think, ‘You’re trying to escape your own reality by trying to hurt me, but you won’t succeed.’”

The new series of Geordie Shore starts tonight at 10pm on MTV
