Stacey Solomon praises Coleen Nolan for opening up about sister Linda’s cancer battle
STACEY Solomon praised her fellow Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan for being so open about her family’s heartbreak over Linda Nolan’s secondary cancer diagnosis.
The TV star had nothing for love for her fellow presenter as she told The Sun Online how she believed sharing the sad news with the nation was therapeutic for the Celebrity Big Brother winner.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, Stacey explained: “Loose Women is a bit like therapy for us. It was so brave of Coleen to share so much with everyone and we are all here for her.
“We will support her and Linda in any way we can. I can’t even image how she is feeling at the moment.”
She continued: “But the good thing about us being so open on Loose Women is the fact sharing our stories can helps so many people. We all go on the journey together.”
Stacey gushed: “I do feel so lucky to have a job where we are women that support each other and are able to talk about serious issues and respect each other’s feelings and opinions without clashing. It’s just so nice.”
Stacey made the heartfelt comments as she enjoyed the Forbidden Forest launch at the Warner Bros. Studio London – The Making of Harry Potter tour.
The doting mother was joined by her sons Zachary, eight, and Leighton, four, at the star-studded launch.
She opened up about how she enjoyed a simple day at home with her boys on Mother’s Day as she stated: "I had a lovely day at home with my boys and my family. We just did nothing which was actually really nice."
Stacy revealed she only saw her boyfriend Joe Swash for a brief period in the morning as she explained: "Joe lost his dad when he was young so Mother's Day is a really big day for him. He spent the day with his mum but I saw him in the morning and he wished me a happy mother's day."
