Pete confided in the reason he thought was behind his split with Megan with his good pal Chloe
PETE Wicks and Megan McKenna's break up played out on screen because she couldn't forget the sexting scandal which tore their relationship apart six months ago.
The Sun Online revealed Pete had been messaging his ex-Jacqui Ryland behind Megan’s back, with the Towie stunner later admitting Pete had been in touch with 10 other women.

And on Wednesday’s Towie, the tattooed hunk admitted Megan had struggled to forget what had happened – leaving them at loggerheads.
Speaking to Chloe Sims, Pete said: “I feel a bit numb at the minute.
“After what happened…she’s tried to forget it but she can’t.

“I love her but I don’t think she’s in love with me anymore. She’s not been in love with me since it happened.”
Chloe told him it was time to let the relationship go, saying: “If she can’t forgive you, she needs to let you go.”
Later in the episode Megan and Pete met up and finally had it out - with both admitting they couldn't move past what had happened.

Megan told Pete: “I love you but I don't feel the same.
Pete then told her: “You're not in love with me, and Megan appeared to agree - with Pete then saying goodbye for a final time and walking out.”
The couple have already split but their relationship has slowly been unravelling on screen.
Sunday night's episode saw their one-year anniversary end in disaster with Pete calling their romance the "waste of a f***ing year".
The Sun Online revealed last year how Jacqui - who had a brief romance with Pete before he got with Megan - started receiving x-rated messages from him again while he was on holiday with Megan.
