Megan McKenna struggling to sleep after Pete Wicks split… as she goes willy ice cube tray shopping at Ann Summers

MEGAN McKenna has been suffering from "scary sleep paralysis" since her heartbreaking split from Pete Wicks.

The frustrated Towie star vented to her Twitter followers just how tired she was feeling and admitted recent drama in her life had been affecting her ability to snooze.

She wrote: "Not even joking you. Sleep paralysis is the scariest thing I've ever experienced"

The TV personality followed it with: "I am beyond tired it's a joke. I just want a good night sleep 😩😩😩"

Finally, she conceded: "So tired all the time coz of my s**t sleeping lately"

It's unsurprising Megan finds sleep paralysis scary as it is a temporary inability to move or speak when waking up or falling asleep.

While she might be feeling down in the dumps at night time, Megan seemed a bit more upbeat on Thursday afternoon, posting an Instagram story of herself shopping in Ann Summers.

The Essex beauty looked to be in the market for penis-shaped shot glasses and ice cube trays in the high street adult store.

Megan and Pete's break up played out on screen on Wednesday night's Towie, with Megan unable to forget the sexting scandal which tore their relationship apart six months ago.

The Sun Online revealed Pete had been messaging his ex-Jacqui Ryland behind Megan’s back, with the Towie stunner later admitting Pete had been in touch with 10 other women. 🙄

And on Wednesday’s Towie, the tattooed hunk admitted Megan had struggled to forget what had happened – leaving them at loggerheads.

Speaking to Chloe Sims, Pete said: “I feel a bit numb at the minute.

“After what happened…she’s tried to forget it but she can’t.

“I love her but I don’t think she’s in love with me anymore. She’s not been in love with me since it happened.”

Chloe told him it was time to let the relationship go, saying: “If she can’t forgive you, she needs to let you go.”

Later in the episode Megan and Pete met up and finally had it out - with both admitting they couldn't move past what had happened.
