Grammy-winning band add two more UK shows in 2025 fuelling Glastonbury Festival rumours
The gigs line-up perfectly for this year's festival
A GRAMMY Award winning band have sparked fresh speculation that they could be playing Glastonbury next year.
Fans have been left waiting on the edges of their seats to see if the popular rockers will be part of the line-up for the festival at Worthy Farm after announcing a slew of UK gigs surrounding the festival’s weekend.
Deftones have revealed even more tour dates for the UK next June after previously revealing a major London gig last month.
Brand new gigs have been lined up to take place in Halifax and Cornwall towards the end of June surrounding their huge London gig.
Fans of the band can see them play at The Piece Hall in Yorkshire town Halifax on June 24 with their next gig lined up for June 26 at the Eden Project in Cornwall.
That gig will be part of this summer’s Eden Sessions and will come just days before their already hotly-anticipated London gig at Crystal Palace Park.
Deftones will be joined by Weezer and High Vis for the June 29 gig at the capital.
Their UK visit is extremely well-timed to fit with a spot at the Somerset festival which will be taking place between the 25th and 29th June.
It means that the rockers could perform on either Friday June 27 or Saturday June 28 at Glasto without it affecting their already revealed tour dates.
Ahead of their gig in Cornwall next June, Rita Broe, the managing director for the Eden Sessions said of the band: “Deftones are one of the most exciting, innovative and powerful live bands in the world and it is a privilege to welcome them to the Eden Sessions.
“We know there is a lot of love in the south west for this band so it’s fantastic to be able to bring genuine legends to the Eden Project.”
With Glastonbury rumours continuing to swirl, it would not be the first time the band have taken to the famous stage.
They previously played the festival back in 1998 – just three years after they first found fame.
Deftones was first formed in Sacramento, California back in 1988.
The members include frontman Chino Moreno, Stephen Carpenter, Abe Cunningham with Chi Cheng and Frank Delgado joining the band in 1990 and 1999.
The group shot to fame with the release of their debut album Adrenaline in 1995.
Deftones have had many hits such as My Own Summer, Be Quiet and Drive as well as Change which remains D most their commercially successful track.
So far, only Rod Stewart has been formally confirmed to play the festival in this year’s legends slot.

Yet acts including Olivia Rodrigo, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Eminem are rumoured to be in the mix.
Canadian songstress Alanis Morrisette and Simple Minds have also been tipped to take to the stage.
