Danniella Westbrook reveals ‘life is on the up’ as she prepares to sue Botched Up Bodies for £750k and check in to rehab in Spain
Former EastEnders actress is trying to get her life back on track
DANNIELLA Westbrook has revealed she’s moving forward with legal action against the TV show Botched Up Bodies after she claims their dental implants left her with blood poisoning.
The former EastEnders is hoping to sue them for £750,000 after to cover “lost earnings”.
Danniella updated her fans on social media, writing: “Successful meeting with the law firm. Things are about to change.”
On the show, viewers watched Danniella explain that a car crash had ruined her smile and left her relying on dentures before begging a dentist to remove her remaining upper teeth.
She said at the time: “I’ve had sleepless nights and crying about the state my teeth are in.
“Sometimes you want to go out for dinner and have a great big bit of steak but I can’t do that – I’ll probably bite in to it and [the implant] will be stuck in the meat.”
The op went ahead, although at the end of the programme it was revealed that Danniella was unhappy with the results, telling producers that she wanted to see another expert as they didn't feel right.
Days after the episode was aired in January, Danniella was forced to seek urgent medical attention while in the Celebrity Big Brother house as her implants began to cause her unspeakable pain.

The pain continued, and eight months later, Danniella was fighting for her life in hospital with septicaemia.
A spokesperson later confirmed Danniella was serious about taking legal action: “Contrary to any speculation the injury to Daniella Westbrook is caused by the side effects of surgery and is the subject of clinical negligence litigation.
“She has instructed solicitors to pursue a claim for damages. As a health matter we would ask that you respect her privacy.”
The 43-year-old tweeted: “So looking forward 2 working on myself &kick all addictions& demons once &for all. I can't wait 2 check in 2 treatment.”
Danniella will be staying at addiction rehabilitation centre Villa Paradiso in Mijas Hills, Marbella.
