The star has had to undergo skin removal surgery to say goodbye to the excess skin her extreme weight loss has caused
But her children Pumpkin and Honey Boo Boo are left worrying back in Georgia as they wait to hear what happened to their Mama as she ends up in surgery for five HOURS due to the extent of the excess skin on her body following the loss.
The surgeon admitted: "You can do all the planning in the world but you never know what you're looking at until you get in there"
He then warned: "This is an extreme case of excess skin so we're going to have to spend a little extra time liposuctioning her arms, but we run the risk of real complications."
The mum-of-four is later seen coming through from the surgery, and looks worse for wear as she comes through from the anaesthetic.
Ahead of the surgery, she admitted that she was worried about what she would look like as she said goodbye to her "turkey neck" and "batwing arms".
It comes as a bittersweet moment for the reality star, and she admits to the camera: “I'm ready to get the surgery over with and remove my turkey neck, but I'm kind of going to miss my turkey neck - it's more famous than I am!”
But now Mama June, her family and her fans are just moments away from seeing what she looks like following months of effort to get down to size in time for her ex Sugar Bear's wedding to new bride Jennifer.
Originally, she had to go under knife to get rid of the excess skin on her stomach - and the pain became so much that she temporarily quit her new regime altogether.
She was left even more upset when the doctors removed her bandages and she sees what her new body currently looks like.
She declared: “I thought that surgery would make me feel better but it hasn’t.
“My body looks like Frankenstein and I hate that I did this.”
She admits to the camera: “I'm ready to get the surgery over with and remove my turkey neck, but I'm kind of going to miss my turkey neck - it's more famous than I am!”
Daughters Honey Boo Boo and Pumpkin offered her encouragement after the surgery, and joked with their mum that she ‘no longer had a FUPA (fat upper pubic area)’.
However, 11-year-old Honey Boo Boo -real name Alana – is then seen crying as she realises how much her mum has changed.
She told the cameras: “I’m just gonna miss that FUPA.”
