DJ Fat Tony reveals brutal facial injuries after ‘being knocked out at gig and rushed to hospital’
DJ Fat Tony has revealed his horrific facial injuries after allegedly being attacked at a gig on Friday.
The music star, who is close pals with the likes of Gemma Collins and Kate Moss, showed off a painful looking black eye and swollen face on Instagram.
The 57-year-old told his followers: "I can't really go into details but I was attacked last night at a gig, in the DJ box by another DJ funnily enough.
"It resulted in me being knocked out and taken to hospital and being in A&E all night. Obviously you can see the damage to my face and the swelling - it's not good.
"I wanted to let you know I can't be at my gigs today as I have been advised to stay at home and get well.
"I'm absolutely gutted, I'm gutted this happened, I'm gutted that people choose violence especially when what we do comes from a place of love."

Fat Tony, whose real name is Tony Marnach, apologised again and insisted he would reschedule his affected gig.
He then added a caption in which he said he was in no fit state to get behind the decks.
"I'm under doctors orders I need to rest and get better," he said. "I will be ok and I'm on the mend - but for now I need to take the doctors' advice.
"I know some of you have had this night out in your diaries for a long time and this is last minute - I really am so sorry. I will make it up to you all in the new year. Happy Christmas everyone, take care of yourselves.
"We will be rescheduling tonight's event to January 25th. I can't wait to see you all there and party together."
A follow-up video this morning saw Tony explain he was being cared for by partner Stavros Agapiou and his injuries were already improving.
He said: "Just doing a quick face update, as you can see the swelling is coming down, I'm okay though. I wanted to say a huge thank you for all the messages I have received - I'm overwhelmed.
"Things happen in life - the police are doing what they need to do and the situation will be sorted but all I want to say is for now is thank you for the love and positivity."
His celebrity pals rallied around him with Josie Gibson writing: "Awww mate, sending you so much love."
Leigh Francis said: "Hope you’re ok x."

For decades Tony has been the go to DJ for A-listers having spun tunes for Michael Jackson, Madonna and Prince.
Unapologetically himself, his forthright manner has endeared him to the biggest names in music.
While working for pop superstars might impress fans, Tony insists DJing for them wasn't all that.
He previously told us: “I did Michael Jackson about three or four times and he said hello to me once and that was it.
“It wasn’t one of those moments I thought, ‘I’m going to re-member this for ever’.
"I was like, ‘OK’. It was just another person, doing another job. “I was never fazed by who they were.
“I must have played for Prince about ten times. The Prince thing, it was so boring.
"I mean, it was amazing but I was booked to play the after-party for Prince, and I did, but he insisted on playing for the majority of it.

“Seriously, he’d already done a gig and now he did another two-hour set, this time for just 200 people.
"We were like, ‘Is he doing another fing guitar solo?’ I just wanted to get on and play some records.”
