MARK Wright and Michelle Keegan ‘swerved his ex Lauren Goodger’ in an awkward run in, days before their pregnancy announcement.
Michelle, 37, announced she was expecting her first child with Mark, also 37, on Sunday, much to the delight of their many followers.
But just a matter of days before the reveal, the couple nearly came face to face with Mark’s Towie ex Lauren, while celebrating Mark Wright Senior’s birthday.
Mark Wright Sr was turning 68 at iconic Essex eatery Sheesh, and James Argent was providing the soundtrack of the night.
But upon entering the venue, Michelle and Mark discovered that Mark’s ex Lauren was also there that night.
Former Towie stars Lauren and Mark acrimoniously ended their eight-year relationship on the reality show back in 2012, with Mark later marrying actress Michelle.

Mark’s sister Jess Wright was spotted passing by Lauren’s Range Rover, so the couple decided to make a discreet exit through a fire door, in a bid to avoid Mark’s ex.
Their Range Rover was then brought around to the car park, so they could quietly leave the Essex venue, and avoid any potential run-ins.
This year, Lauren opened up on the split, on Paul C. Brunson’s podcast, as he said: “So then you end up breaking up with Mark.”
Lauren went on: “I hurt him, he hurt me. We had that chat and I knew I was never going to see him again.”

Paul then asked: “Were you still in love with him?” to which Lauren candidly replied: “Really honest, I don’t think that sort of love from childhood goes away.
“Obviously he’s moved on with his life and he’s got to respect that and I respect that, but I would love to say ‘hey how are you? All good?’
“We don’t speak. How can he been seen chatting to me, if someone took a photo of that or said something it could cause a lot of trouble, more than what it is.”
In a separate clip, Lauren says the attention on hers and Mark’s relationship “broke her.”
Meanwhile, Mark and Michelle have said that 2025 will be “a special one” after announcing their baby news with a stunning beach photoshoot.
