BRAD Pitt's 'real reason' for ending his eight year divorce battle with Angelina Jolie can be revealed.
Former Hollywood power couple, Brad, 61, and Angelina, 49, stunned the world today by agreeing to a divorce settlement after years of legal wrangling.
While the timing of the settlement has raised eyebrows, it appears that Brad is making plans for the future.
Sources suggest the acting icon is preparing to marry his jewellery designer girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, 32, in 2025.
Insiders close to the star revealed that finalizing the divorce was a critical step for Brad, as Ines reportedly wants to start a family.
One told , “They are looking to get married in the next year, and Brad has settled because he wants to keep his children on side for his new marriage to go ahead.
"Apparently, Ines is keen to have children too and pressured him to get it all sorted out as soon as possible."
Another explained how the prolonged divorce battle has been a significant source of strain in Brad's relationships with his kids.
He and Angelina share six children - Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
They said, “Brad will be relieved that he can finally move on and marry again. He has wanted his divorce settled long before now, but he believes Angelina has been dragging her feet.

"He will hope that he can build bridges with his children now that the divorce is finalized, but that looks like a long hard road.”
The U.S. Sun has reached out to Brad's representative for comment.
The exes officially signed off on their divorce paperwork yesterday.
But the fight over a French chateau and vineyard they once jointly owned is still dragging on.
Jolie's lawyer James Simon said: "More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr Pitt.
"She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr Pitt.
"Since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family.
"This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago.
"Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over."
The divorced couple remain locked in a legal battle over Château Miraval vineyard in France.
Brad alleged Angelina sold her $62 million stake of the winery to the Stoli Group without his approval.
Both sides are reportedly willing to take the Miraval case to a jury trial or mediation.
Angelina first filed to end the marriage in September 2016, just two years after tying the knot.
The couple had been together for 10 years before deciding to get married.
Angelina claimed in court filings that Pitt had a "history of physical abuse".
It was alleged that Brad became physically abusive on a private jet with Jolie and their six children.
Angelina also claimed Brad tired to make her sign a $8.5million (£6.8million) NDA to cover up his "years of abuse".
Brad has always denied the abuse claims, and was cleared by cops following a probe.
The couple were declared legally single in 2019, despite their ongoing divorce battle.
