It is a case of Late Late London as James Corden is set to bring his USA chatshow to the UK
JAMES Corden has revealed he is coming to the UK with his hit USA late night comedy chat show.
The 38-year-old actor and talk show host is bringing his The Late Late Show to London for a week of special shows.
James announced the news on Tuesday – using a hilarious video clip of himself and house band frontman Reggie Watts packing up the studio.
However it seemed Reggie hadn’t got the note about the show moving to the UK for three days in June.

“Well, I'm really going to miss this place,” James said with a sigh as the packing was completed.
“Yeah. I can't believe we're being cancelled, but I guess it was pretty inevitable,” Reggie said solemly.
“What? No. We're not being cancelled. the show hasn't been cancelled, Reggie! We are taking the show to London for a week!” James then said – with a stunned Reggie asking: “We are?”
James reiterated the facts, saying: “Yes! The Late Late Show is going to London for a week of shows… Let's get out of here!”
The show is going to be filmed in London at Central Hall Westminster on June 6, 7, and 8 – with a “British twist” being added.
The Late Late Show going on the road is also something of a first in its 22-year history.
“To bring ‘The Late Late Show’ to London is a dream come true for me,” James told Variety.
“I’m incredibly proud of the show and we’re going to do our best to make this week in London memorable,” he added.
It is unclear if the popular “Carpool Karaoke” segment will film in the UK capital.
Anyone who does live or travel in London knows that traffic is a nightmare at all times – taking hours to travel mere miles.
Gridlock and traffic lights prove problematic in central London and around all the iconic landmarks - although he did previously film in the UK with Adele.
However what is clear is that James himself cannot wait to get back to the UK with his show.
“So excited to be bringing @latelateshow to London!!!!” the star tweeted within minutes of the news being announced.
While the official show website also shared the news, tweeting: “We're taking this show on the road. #LateLateLondon”.
The Late Late Show with James Corden airs on CBS in the USA and Sky 1 in the UK.
