Katherine Jenkins sparks massive bust-up with string of diva demands before West End debut in Carousel
SINGER Katherine Jenkins has sparked a row with West End co-star Alfie Boe over her string of diva demands.
The pair are appearing in musical Carousel, which opens at the London Coliseum on Friday.
But Katherine, 36, is already raising eyebrows among production staff with her high-maintenance behaviour.
She has demanded the venue’s number one dressing room despite theatre fave Alfie, 43, taking the leading role of Carousel operator Billy Bigelow.
And the mezzo-soprano, making her theatrical debut, is also insisting she takes the final bow, usually reserved for the leading star.

An insider said: “Katherine has really surprised people — including Alfie.
“She has come in clearly convinced she is the biggest star but she has never acted before.
“She’s insisting she takes the best dressing room, and has said she wants to take the final bow.
“Billy is the biggest role, so Alfie would be expected to get that.
“She’s obviously used to getting her own way.”
Katherine has spoken of her excitement at appearing in a stage play as she takes the role of Alfie’s on-stage love Julie Jordan.
And a source close to the production insisted any issues would be resolved amicably and Katherine and Alfie are “total professionals who are committed to making the show a huge success”.
Katherine’s spokeswoman added: “All the terms were pre-agreed.”
