Harry Styles snubs One Direction bandmates as he refuses to talk about boyband in two-hour Radio 1 interview

HARRY Styles has given Radio 1 a two-hour interview in which he pointedly refuses to even mention One Direction.
The marathon grilling which goes out on Nick Grimshaw’s Breakfast Show tomorrow sees the heart-throb, 23, talk only about his career outside the boyband.
Fans had hoped for clues to when 1D will end their hiatus in the “scoop” interview, his first since he branched out as a solo artist. But they will be gutted.
A source said: “To not mention the group at all is very odd. Harry owes his entire career to One Direction.
“But he desperately wants to distance himself from them and become known as a superstar on his own.”
Bandmates Louis Tomlinson, 25, Zayn Malik, 24, Liam Payne, 23, and Niall Horan, 23, also fail to get a mention.
Instead Styles namechecks his celebrity friends, including Coldplay’s Chris Martin, 40, Rita Ora, 26, Ed Sheeran, 26 and Ronnie Wood, 69.
