Glastonbury fans ‘work out’ legendary 80s punk star has signed up for festival after tour dates clue
GLASTONBURY fans reckon they've got the latest act for the Worthy Farm festival sussed.
Eagle-eyed gig-goers have called out a legendary punk rocker - who found fame in the Eighties - as the latest star in the line-up.
They now reckon Billy Idol's 2025 tour dates give the biggest hint the 69-year-old will rock up at Glastonbury with hits including Eyes Without A Face and Rebel Yell.
London-born Billy, real name William Broad, will bring Idol Live! to the UK this year.
Yet he will only play a single date - in June - the month of the iconic festival.
White Wedding hitmaker will head to Milton Keynes on Sunday, June 22, for a stint at the Forever Now Festival.

Fans now reckon it's a coincidence Glastonbury kicks off three days later, running in Somerset until Monday June 30.
One fan was now quick to remark on Reddit: "He wasn’t in the U.K. at all last year and coincidentally he is booked near to Glasto…"
Another posted: "That would be a nice change of pace from the others announced."
A third then wrote: "Would be magnificent."

One added: "He has to be really, all the other festivals have announced their lineups and I can't see him coming here for one show."
SECOND CHANCE?
Billy was previously blasted for his "shambolic" Glastonbury stint three years ago.
Towards the end of his Saturday afternoon Glastonbury show, the music legend ended up swearing twice.
Billy Idol and Steve Jones collaborated on stage, combining Generation X and the Sex Pistols.
As they finished their last number, I Did It My Way, fans said they heard Billy say the C-word.
Billy began singing, "And now the end is near and so I face the final curtain," and then he continued, "You C***, get me a beer, I'll state my case of which I am certain."
Glastonbury 2025 - rumoured acts
THE Glastonbury line-up hasn't been confirmed - despite the fact tickets for the 2025 event sold out in minutes. Here are some rumoured acts.
Basement Jaxx sparked speculation they will be playing at Worthy Fam after leaving a "Glastonbury shaped gap" in their latest tour schedule.
It came after the hit duo announced their first live shows in 10 years - with gig-goers calling out a key "clue" in the order of their concert dates.
Yet acts including Olivia Rodrigo, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Eminem are rumoured to be in the mix.
Canadian songstress Alanis Morrisette and Simple Minds have also been tipped to take to the stage.
The event will run from Wednesday, June 25 to Sunday June 29 for 2025.
The rock star then used the F-word as he proceeded to thank the crowd for coming to see them.
"The afterparty is at Stonehenge, I'll see you there. I'm gonna get f***ed up tonight, yeah," Billy told the audience.
Fans were also puzzled as to why the famous singer wore a leather jacket in the hot weather.
Those at home watching took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the shocking performance and Billy's appearance, with many dubbing it "chaotic" and "shambolic."
The Sun previously revealed that pop icons Chappell Roan, Charli XCX and Olivia Rodrigo are all set to perform at Glastonbury this year.
They join The 1975, Stevie Wonder and Neil Young who are due to perform on the Pyramid Stage.
