Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke splits from DJ boyfriend after realising ‘something wasn’t quite right’
IT’S a new year and a new start for Emilia Clarke, as she has split from her boyfriend.
I’ve learned that the Game of Thrones actress and her handsome DJ partner Sebastian ‘Bassi’ Fox have gone their separate ways after four months together.
They went public with their relationship when they were photographed on a romantic night out in east London last September.
However, I’m told they have now called time after realising they didn’t have a future together.
A source said: “Emilia and Seb aren’t together anymore. They had a fun time, but something just wasn’t quite right between them.
“They gave it a good go but, in the end. they realised that perhaps they aren’t the right fit for each other.

“It’s been bruising, but there’s no hard feelings.
“She has told her mates that they want to try and stay friends.”
I’m sure she’s had plenty to do to keep her mind off things, though.
She has voiced a character in an new animated version of The Twits, which is being released on Netflix this year.
And she has also spent months filming a US crime drama called Criminal, about the crossover among families of crooks.
Emilia previously had a high profile relationship with Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane from 2012 to 2013.
She later dated American director Charlie McDowell from 2018 to 2019, before he got married to Emily in Paris actress Lily Collins in 2021.
Emilia, who played Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, has previously used the celebrity dating app Raya, so it’s clear she’s eager to put herself out there and find a nice bloke.
My fingers are crossed for her in 2025 because she seems like a lovely lady.
But as someone who was once voted Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive, I doubt she needs my well wishes to find a handsome man to sweep her off her feet.
McFly go big
BUSTED better watch out when it comes to their arena tour going up against McFLY later this year, because their rivals are pulling out the big guns.
The British bands announced the Busted Vs McFly tour in Bizarre last October and promised big things then.
But we bumped into McFly drummer Harry Judd at the premiere of Cirque du Soleil’s new show Corteo in London last week and he revealed they are planning such extreme ideas to try to trump their mates, they are even considering hiring a stuntman.
He joked: “Maybe I’m coming here tonight for a bit of research, to steal a few ideas for the tour, because we’ve got to try and put on a pretty special show.
“I’ve had a few ideas for the tour along the lines of actually we might need to hire a stuntman to take on tour with us.”
It’s fair to say Harry is in pretty good shape himself though and is currently dedicating himself to running the London Marathon in under three hours, which seems absolutely insane to me.
He admitted: “Running has taken over my life a bit at the moment.
“I do like five to six days a week pretty much. I want to try and run sub-three hours before I’m 40.
“Joel Dommett is doing it with me as well. He’s trying to go sub-three as well. And he’s 40 before me. So I might have another shot at it if I don’t make it.”
They’ve both got much more willpower than me.
Christina hits purple carpet
CHRISTINA Aguilera showed off her slimmed down figure as she hit the purple carpet at the Joy Awards in Saudi Arabia.
She wore shades with a white shirt and silver skirt for the bash, which she opened by performing a medley of her hits including The Voice Within, Fighter and Genie in a Bottle.
Christina, who is hard at work on a new album, wasn’t the only celebrity who made the long flight to Riyadh for the ceremony, which is meant to honour Arab artists.
Michael Buble performed while Amanda Seyfriend, Morgan Freeman and Matthew McConaughey were among those in the crowd.
Any excuse for some January sun, I suppose.
Jason Derulo's AI interview
JASON DERULO was the first guest on Michael Parkinson's AI podcast last week, where a virtual version of the late broadcaster interviews people from beyond the grave.
But despite being a firm believer in the possibilities of AI, even he admitted it was proof that journalists won’t be swapped for robots any time soon.
That’s a relief for me.
He said: “I don’t think that you can replace a real journalist. I think there’ll always be a need for the human element.
“I mean who wants to just watch AI all the time? I think it’s a really cool thing because I mean he was so beloved by so many people.
“But yeah I think people want to see journalists, they want to see facial expressions.
“And as you can see with that interview I mean there’s some things… I mean it still has a long way to go but like as we know AI is learning every single day.”
At one point in the podcast, called Virtually Parkinson, Jason asked him a question but the AI technology blanked him and ploughed on with its list of questions.
When I pointed that out to him, Jason said: “Oh they left that in there? I can’t believe they left that in there.”
But he added: “I’m fascinated with AI. I think it’s going to be an amazing tool.
“I think in the next five or ten years we’ll all have robots in our house as a helper.”
Zara TikToks all the boxes
ZARA LARSSON had millions of eyes on her as she headlined TikTok’s Global Live Fest last week, which was livestreamed on the app.
She wore this green miniskirt to belt out some of her best hits including Lush Life, Symphony and Can’t Tame Her at London’s Roundhouse.
Content creators from around the globe flew into the capital to be celebrated at the bash and Bizarre was there to meet them — from an Italian Mr Bean lookalike, Arnaldo Mangini, who has 32m followers, to an incredible singer, Anndrea Torres, who belted out a power ballad medley.
They have become popular through live broadcasts through the app, which is transforming the way people connect with their followers.
Zara has got plenty of fans of her own already, but I’m sure she used the chance to pick up a few tips for her next TikToks.
Rocking charity tee
TODAY is supposed to be the most depressing day of the year, but rockers New Order have dropped new merch in a bid to cheer up any of their gloomy fans.
They’ve teamed up with Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) for a limited edition t-shirt, with £10 from each one going to the cause to help people struggling.
The band said: “Starting a conversation with somebody could be the most important conversation that person ever has. It could be life-changing.”
Cavill's supertot arrives
CONGRATULATIONS are in order for Superman actor Henry Cavill who has become a first-time dad.
The movie hunk’s girlfriend Natalie Viscuso recently gave birth to their first child together, although details of the new arrival haven’t been revealed.
Henry, who confirmed last April that she was pregnant, was spotted with Natalie and a pushchair in Australia, where he is filming the live action movie Voltron.
That baby’s only a few weeks old and is already having more extravagant holidays than me.

Sporty's rave run energy
SPORTY SPICE has compiled her ultimate motivational playlist to get Britain moving in 2025.
She has shared her debut fitness DJ mix on Apple Music and Apple Fitness+ which she reckons will be enough to get even the most exercise averse person up on their feet.
Mel C explained: “It’s definitely beast mode, I’ve trialled the mix when running, cycling, strength training and just having a dance at the decks.
“Not the one for Yoga or Pilates, although it could make those activities more interesting.
“Music is such a motivator for me when I’m working out both physically and mentally.
“Taking the energy and euphoria from the club to the gym or out on a run or ride is a game changer.”
KREPT & Konan, Bashy and Spice are the first names announced to perform at the MOBO Awards next month.
They will play at the UK’s biggest celebration of black music and culture when it hits Newcastle’s Utilita Arena on February 18.
