Leigh-Anne Pinnock close to completing debut solo album as she reinvents her sound once more
LEIGH-ANNE PINNOCK has been left gutted after hubby Andre Gray landed a new football contract in Turkey.
But rather than feel sorry for herself at the prospect of another long-distance relationship, the Little Mix star is throwing herself into her music.
The pair have spent years apart after Andre landed deals to play for Aris in Greece, followed by Saudi Pro League team Al-Riyadh – and now a short contract with Plymouth Argyle has come to an end.
However, I’m told the singer is just weeks away from making her return after taking some time out following the release of her EP, No Hard Feelings.
A source said: “Leigh-Anne’s album is as good as complete and now it’s all about planning for the year ahead.
“She is hugely proud of the music she’s put out already, but she has taken a new direction when it comes to this record.

“Her debut single, Don’t Say Love, is unlikely to make it on to the tracklist.”
Taking to the comments section of her TikTok, Leigh-Anne vowed to give her solo career her all, saying: “This year I am going to focus on pouring into my own cup more.
"It’s the year of me and I’m ready!”
The floor is all yours, Leigh-Anne.

SAM: I’VE MOVED ON FROM BRIT
IF you’ve struggled to move on from an ex, then spare a thought for Sam Asghari.
The model and actor had to go through a divorce from Britney Spears while seeing headlines about the pop icon and hearing her music around the globe.
Opening up about the split, Sam said: “It’s always very difficult when you have to adjust and completely go away from something.
“So it was difficult and took some time to move on. But it is life, you know. Life comes at you fast and you deal with it.”
Sam, who is on the US version of The Traitors, met Britney on the set for 2016 music video Slumber Party when he played her love interest.
They wed in an intimate ceremony in 2022.
But they called it quits in August 2023, two months before Britney released tell-all book, The Woman In Me.
PEAS PUT ON ICE
BAD news for Black Eyed Peas fans – the group have cancelled their planned Las Vegas residency with just a few weeks’ notice.
Will.i.am, Taboo and Apl.de.Ap were due to kick off a run of shows at Planet Hollywood on February 15.
It remains to be seen why the gigs have been axed at the last minute, although rumours suggest struggling ticket sales could be to blame.
In a statement the band said: “To our dearest Peabodies, it is with a heavy heart that, in light of current circumstances, our Las Vegas shows will not be moving forward as planned.
“Ticket providers will issue full refunds automatically. Stay tuned for updates.”
There is no denying Black Eyed Peas have some huge tracks, but it’s never been the same since Fergie left.
Matt’s a menace in Milan
MATT SMITH looks like he’s just stepped out of the Matrix movies.
The ex-Doctor Who actor cut a menacing figure as he attended a top fashion show in Milan.
Dressed all in black with shades, he posed for pictures sporting a questionable short Mohican.
But rather than trying his hand at a career as a bouncer, his drastic look is all down to his next film role.
He’s been busy shooting new crime thriller Caught Stealing.
Last year, Matt sported a giant yellow and orange Mohawk to get into character as a punk.
So by those standards, the Italian revamp is quite tame.
CRAIG DAVID, with his epic TS5 show, has been announced as the final headline act for Kew The Music on July 8 at Kew Gardens, London.
It’s one of a raft of announcements, including Rag’N’Bone Man at Forestry England Delamere on June 15 followed by Busted there on June 19, and Snow Patrol at Forestry England Cannock Chase on June 26, as part of the Forest Live gig series.
And ex-Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall has announced her first solo festival gig at London’s Mighty Hoopla Festival on May 31.
Old Faces rock up for Rod’s 80th
ROD STEWART went nose to nose with Ronnie Wood as he celebrated his landmark 80th birthday.
Dressed in equally bold dinner jackets, the rockers shared a string of playful snaps from inside a lavish, 20-person dinner at Mayfair restaurant Mount Street.
Organised by Sir Rod’s wife Penny Lancaster, the Scots-themed evening saw guests served a stunning three-course dinner before the veteran rocker was presented with a Celtic FC tartan cake, topped off by giant fake antlers.
Despite wearing an outfit costing more than my mortgage, football-mad Rod proudly pinned a £3 official Celtic FC Birthday Boy badge to his designer jacket.
It’s the last in a series of events the star has held to celebrate his milestone birthday.
He saw in his big day earlier this month surrounded by his children and grandchildren on his yacht in the Caribbean.
TIMOTHEE CHALAMET’s biopic of music legend Bob Dylan, A Complete Unknown, has topped the UK box office.
In its opening weekend, it took £2.6million, knocking Mufasa: The Lion King down to No2 after a month at the top.
Meanwhile, Nicole Kidman's erotic thriller Babygirl has dropped to No6 and has now banked a total of £2.6million in the UK.
Camila cut out for fame
THIS month marks a decade since Camila Cabello released her first album with Fifth Harmony, so she’s more than earned her stripes in the music industry.
And she had them emblazoned down her outfit as she performed her latest show in the US.
