CARRIE Underwood suffered major technical difficulties on Monday as she performed at President Donald Trump's inauguration in Washington, D.C.
Carrie, 41, sang America the Beautiful at the inauguration - and the rendition did not go down without a hitch.
The new American Idol judge rocked a simple off-white dress as she gracefully walked toward the front of the room to perform at the big event.
Gripping the microphone, she smiled and then grimaced as she waited for the background music to start for several awkward seconds.
Eventually, she just began singing a cappella.
"You know the words, help me out here," she pleaded with the room inside the U.S. Capitol before belting out the classic song.
After she finished the song, she clapped, bowed, and shook President Trump's and President Biden's hands.
She then flashed a smile and walked out.
Fans were impressed with Carrie's ability to perform under immense pressure and problems beyond her control.
"Carrie Underwood owned the moment," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future."
AMERICAN IDOL EXECS 'NOT HAPPY'
As The U.S. Sun previously reported, American Idol execs privately criticized Carrie after she announced she would perform in celebration of President Trump's big day.
"There are producers who don’t approve and are worried," a source said.
“A lot of viewers are already speaking of a boycott, whether or not that’s true or just noise will be seen after the ratings come in but the conversation it now brings Idol into is not what producers want.
“They don’t want the show to get political, they want it to be an escape from that.”

Carrie's fellow American Idol judges, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, and host Ryan Seacrest were also unimpressed with the news.
“Ryan, Luke, and Lionel won’t be happy either because they will inevitably also get asked about it in some interview at some point, and that’s not a topic they want to be sucked into," the source explained.
However, the source assured that Carrie would not be fired from the ABC music competition show for participating in the inauguration.
“It doesn’t conflict with any of her Idol taping dates, and [the inauguration] is before this season airs, so it doesn’t go against anything in her contract."
Carrie has never publicly expressed her political views, claiming that in 2019, she "stays far out of" the topic.
