Pete Wicks insists he will keep Megan McKenna tattoo despite bitter split… while she reveals she’s ‘glad’ it’s over

PETE Wicks is keeping the tattoo he got for ex-girlfriend Megan McKenna - despite their bitter split.

The Towie couple broke up last month after a year of dating, and what started out as an amicable parting has slowly descended into a vicious break up.

The two were pictured having to be separated by the show's staff during a huge argument in the street last week, but in scenes shot before the row during a group trip to Amsterdam, Pete insisted he would be keeping the M on his hand.

Asked by a giggling Tommy Mallet if he was going to get it changed to "Mum", Pete replied: "No, I'm going to keep it. It's a memory isn't it?"

Tommy then joked he should get it changed to Mallet, and he would pay, Pete laughed saying: "Mate, I don't work for you!"

While Pete was able to laugh about the situation with his mates while out on a bike ride around Amsterdam, back in Essex, Megan was discussing her break up drama with BFF Amber Turner.

At one point she said: "I'm so glad I'm out of that relationship".

Pete originally had the tattoo to impress Megan as he tried to win her back following his sexting scandal late last year.

He revealed the M on his hand during an episode of the ITVBe reality show, joining the many other inkings on his body.

Meanwhile, the cast stepped out on Sunday to film their Easter episodes, but Megan was nowhere to be seen after she decided to take a break from the show.

The Sun Online exclusively revealed that Megan would be taking some much-needed time off after her explosive row with ex-boyfriend Pete Wicks that saw her screaming in his face on the street.

But the rest of the Essex lot put their best foot forward as they celebrated Easter as Gemma's glamorous bash at the Old Regent Ballroom in Corringham.

While Amber Turner, Chloe Sims and Courtney Green looked like they were heading to a red carpet event, some of the others went for more casual ensembles.

Megan's pal Amber looked gorgeous in a white and nude sheer maxi dress which clung to her curves.

Her blonde hair cascaded down her shoulders and she added some height with nude wedges.
