Jamie O’Hara hints Mark Wright could play for Billericay Town FC after buying 20 percent stake in club

The CBB star is urging his pal Mark to get on the pitch

MARK Wright is set to make his football dream become a reality by playing for Billericay Town.

The former Only Way Is Essex star has bought a 20 per cent stake in the club and is working with new multi-millionaire owner Glenn Tamplin to get the seventh-tier club into the football league.

Mark has already convinced Celebrity Big Brother star and long-time friend Jamie O'Hara to sign for the club and now Jamie hopes Mark will take to the pitch too.

Spilling on his pal's playing plans, Jamie said: "Mark wants to be involved with the club as much as possible. He has talked about maybe playing. I think he's desperate to get down here.

“He's very capable of playing at a professional level and he should play as much as he can because he loves it. I think he was close to making it as a pro.”

As a youngster Mark played for West Ham, Arsenal and Spurs in their youth teams.

Mark has previously caught the eye of football league clubs with his performances for the England team in the Soccer Aid charity games.

He and Jamie often play at their local Goals pitch where Mark struggles to contain his competitive nature.

Jamie added: "We have a kickabout at Goals every week, just for fun, but it gets very competitive. It's us and a group of mates. We've done it for a while."
Mark's brother Josh plays for League One club Gillingham and his goal scoring display in last year's Soccer Aid brought interest from a number of teams.
