Jesy Nelson and Towie’s Chris Clark split after accepting their ‘lives are too different’ for love
Little Mix's Jesy and Towie hunk Chris have called time on their whirlwind romance after realising their relationship could never work
JESY Nelson and Chris Clark have split after a whirlwind two-month romance, The Sun Online can reveal.
The couple have decided to call time on their relationship after accepting their 'lives are simply too different' and it could never work.
A source close to the couple told The Sun Online that Towie star Chris, 22, accepted early on that 25-year-old Jesy's life was completely different to his and after a brief experience of it he didn't like it.
They explained: “Their lives are so different, it was never going to work.
“Chris is a normal Essex lad, he’s very private and low key. He likes spending time with his mum and mates and not being in the spotlight.
“Jesy’s life is a world away from his. She’s a superstar, travelling the world and living in the spotlight.
“He got a taste of her lifestyle and it couldn’t work – it’s just not him. There’s no bad blood it just wasn’t working out between them.”
On Wednesday night, Jesy hinted the couple had ended their romance after deleting all of her loved up pictures with Chris on Instagram.
Later that evening, Chris spent the night partying with his brother Jon and fellow Towie friends at James Ingham's star-studded Jog On To Cancer charity event in London.
Although Chris was in good spirits he refused to talk about the split and told The Sun Online: “I just can’t talk about it now.”
On Thursday morning Chris followed Jesy’s lead and erased any sign of their romance from his social media accounts.
The Sun Online have contacted Chris' representatives. Jesy’s agent had no comment.
Jesy and Chris were first linked together when the pair were spotted together on a night out in a London nightclub in February.
A whirlwind romance followed, with Chris and Jesy regularly posting loved up pictures of themselves online.
Chris even flew out to the US to spend time with Jesy on tour with her band Little Mix.
He later returned home and told his Twitter followers he was missing her.
