CORONATION Street bosses have named Ken Barlow's granddaughter Amy as a new suspect as the hunt for his attacker heats up.
The soap has been embroiled in a shocking whodunnit plot after the soap veteran was pushed down the stairs - and the 13 year old is now in the frame.
Fans of the show have turned armchair detectives in recent weeks as they have attempted to work out who gave Ken the near-fatal shove.
It has previously been revealed that it may have been a family member who tried to do away with the Weatherfield regular.
Peter Barlow has previously been in the frame, along with his stalker Chloe and even Pat Phelan, but now Corrie bosses have confirmed the heat is being turned on Ken's teenage grandaughter.
They confirmed the shock twist in a series of online posts today, revealing Amy as a suspect in a video
A video was uploaded along with a message pointing the finger at Amy as speculation grows about who tried to kill Ken.
The note stated: "We've listened to your theories about what happened to Ken and have added a new suspect - do you think Amy could have attacked her granddad?"
Fans also spotted a mysterious post on Twitter which added: "We've listened to your theories about Who Attacked Ken and have officially added a NEW SUSPECT - see who..."
Amy has previously sparked outrage by conning her granddad out of money by smashing up her own violin and asking him to pay for a new one.
Dodgy conman Phelan was previously arrested for the attempted murder of Ken, but he was later proved to be innocent.
He had been heard arguing with Ken over the kitchen just before the brutal attack.
But he was cleared after Todd Grimshaw found footage showing Phelan elsewhere at the time of the attack.
Todd had been secretly filming the builder – and the footage turned out to be a concrete alibi.
