The long running BGT judge says talent is coming from a new generation

And she even says some acts have gone straight through to the live finals thanks to the golden buzzer.

“Half the Golden Buzzers are kids. It’s an absolutely incredible thing,” the proud mum-of-three gushed to The Sun Online exclusively.

“There is so much amazing young talent in this country,” she continued.

“Every year people ask us if we’re running out of talent and I’m like no, because they’re all 12 and they’re all up and coming. It’s incredible!” the honey haired beauty beamed.

Mandy also said another surprise for BGT 2017 is that Simon Cowell has been on time during the recording process.

Show boss Si, 57, has a notorious reputation for keeping his fellow judges Amanda, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams – as well as show hosts Ant and Dec, not to mention the live audience – waiting for hours for his arrival.

But not so for the 11th series of the hit ITV talent show.

“Simon’s timekeeping is contractual, he turned up on time, he beat me twice!” Mandy laughed.

While Amanda says the kids are doing better than just alright on the show so far, she admits she wants to see a comedian walk away with the £250,000 prize money.

“I want to see a comedian win. It’s a variety show, I like to see everyone but because a magician won last year I’d like to see someone funny this year,” she said.

Britain’s Got Talent returns to ITV on Saturday 15 April 2017 at 8pm.
