Oscars viewers furious as ‘rude’ Kylie Jenner refuses to stand up to meet Elton John
This wasn't the only awkward moment Kylie had at the Oscars
OSCARS viewers have slammed Kylie Jenner as being "rude" after she was seen refusing to stand up to meet Sir Elton John.
The 97th Academy Awards took place last night in Hollywood, with lots of awkward moments - including this one.

Kylie, 27, was seen being introduced to the I'm Still Standing singer by boyfriend Timothée Chamalet.
But the youngest Kardashians star was blasted for her behaviour after she appeared to ignore Sir Elton.
In a video obtained by People, and taken during an Oscars commercial break, Timothée can be seen hugging Elton inside the Dolby Theatre.
He then turned around to introduce him to his girlfriend Kylie, who refused to stand up and instead just extended her hand out for Elton to kiss.

It comes as:

Fans were not happy with this exchange and slammed Kylie for being "rude".
One wrote: "That is Sir Elton John! You stand when being greeted to him."

AWKWARD MOMENT
This wasn't the only awkward moment for the couple suffered at the Oscars last night.

This time it involved Timothée's ex Lily-Rose Depp.
Johnny Depp's daughter was on stage presenting award while right in front of her was her ex and his new girlfriend who were in the front row.
And to make things more awkward, the producers framed the shot so his picture from A Complete Unknown showed up right behind where Lily was standing.
Fans noticed as soon as it happened and thought the producers did it on purpose, calling them out for being "messy".

Sharing a screen grab of the moment, one fan on X said: "The Academy is so messy for this."
"They knew what they were doing. did they pan them?? lol can’t remember," said one person in reaction to the post.
A second penned: "They've planned this, crazy as af."
"They know what they’re doing an I’m here for it," said a third.

While a fourth added: "while him being seated literally in front of her I’m-"
And a fifth said: "No i literally laughed."
Meanwhile, someone else made a veiled dig at Kylie when they reacted to the moment, writing: "Shoutout to Lily because presenting in front of your ex and his gf who literally tries to copy everything you do down to your pose is stomach turning."
Timothée and Lily-Rose dated for more than a year.
Their romance came after they were starred alongside each other in Netflix's The King.

They were first publicly linked in October 2018, after the movie wrapped, and their relationship is reported to have lasted well over a year.
Meanwhile, Kylie and Timothée have been dating since April 2023, with them reportedly in a casual relationship.
