Emmerdale’s Pierce Harris manipulates Rhona Goskirk into keeping his rape secret by threatening her son Leo as she tries to leave him
The lawyer menacingly held a picture of Leo in his hands
PIERCE Harris manipulated wife Rhona Goskirk into keeping the rape a secret on tonight's episode of Emmerdale - by threatening her son.
On Monday, viewers were left horrified when Pierce (Jonanthan Wrather) brutally raped his wife Rhona (Zoe Henry) just hours after their wedding.
A traumatised Rhona then reported the rape to the police, but then left the station as she struggled to cope as the situation dawned on her.
And unbelievably Pierce became even more vile this evening by threatening her son.
During the second episode this evening, he picked up a photo of her son Leo he said: "Are you gonna tell me what you think?"
When she stayed silent he continued, continuing to hold the photo: "Fine. Well, I've said it. I don't supposed there's much point in me hanging around anyway."
She snatched the frame from him and said: "We're going away - somewhere you can't find us."

But Pierce asked what she was going to tell everyone.
He said: "And Leo, he's going to want to know why I've apparently evaporated, as he's accepted me as part of his... as his part in the proposal, all of that."
Pierce then said menacingly: "Are you really going to poison him with that awful lie?"
He appeared to give her a knowing look before walking off as she stared after him, scared stiff.
This isn't the first time that Pierce has threatened someone's child - last month he told Vanessa that he would hurt her baby Johnny if she told Rhona about the sex tape.
Earlier, she was shocked that he was continuing to act as though there was nothing wrong, she demanded: "Are you deluding yourself or something? You raped me!"
But he continued to sip on his tea as he nonchalantly remarked: "So, where are the police then? Why aren't they reading me my rights?"
Pierce then tried to make her doubt herself by saying that insisting that "the play was a bit rough" and suggesting that she'd be undermining "real" cases.
He then told her that he still had their sex tape and said that "pursuing this would only end in a very public humiliation".
The lawyer said that if she just "looked past this" that they could get past all the "heartache".
Will Pierce get his comeuppance?
