Richard Goulding, 38, is a British actor from Shrewsbury in Shropshire.
He studied at the Guildhastafll School of Music and Drama.
Richard has been known for playing Prince Harry having taken on the role in both the stage and TV version of King Charles III.
He also plays the soon-to-be wed prince in Channel 4 sitcom The Windsors and will reprise his role for a one-off Royal Wedding special.
What else has Richard Goulding been in?
Other than playing Prince Harry in The Windsors, Richard most notably played Tomothy in Channel 4 comedy Fresh Meat.
His character was the overbearing older brother of Jack Whitehall’s Jonathan ‘JP’ Pembersley.
Richard has also held roles in Ripper Street and M.I. High.
Richard has had a varied and successful career on stage – with one of his earliest notable roles being in Laura Wade’s acclaimed production Posh in 2010.
He has also appeared in King Lear in 2012 (with Sir Ian McKellen in the lead role), and previously in The Seagull in 2007/2008 (with Carey Mulligan).
Richard’s film credits may be fewer than his stage and TV work – but each film he has been in has been something of a hit.
In 2016 he appeared in tearjerker Me before You alongside Emilia Clark and Sam Claflin, and in 2011 he had a small role in The Iron Lady (which starred Meryl Streep and Jim Broadbent).
Is Richard Goulding married?
Ricahrd is married – and the couple have a daughter together.
The family live in Battersea in London, but Richard prefers not to divulge details of his private life.
Speaking about playing Prince Harry in December 2016 – not long after the real Prince had begged with paparazzi to back off from his girlfriend Meghan Markle – Richard tellingly said to the Evening Standard: “His plea to the press to leave him and his girlfriend alone — I get that. I really get that.”
