As Aidan and girlfriend Eva Price spend an evening together, they couldn't be more loved up... until Maria sends a text and Aidan sneaks out for a passionate moment.
The sneaky pair meet for a passionate snog in the ginnel - but David Platt clocks them together and is suspicious of what they could be up to.
Maria has the option of confessing all to David or keeping shtum about the affair. Can she keep the information to herself or is she set to spill the beans so early on?
As she realises how guilty she feels about the illicit affair, Maria decides she'll feel better if she's no longer friends with Eva.
But she can't just break off the friendship for no reason - so she's on a mission to start a blistering row.
Maria cruelly impersonates Eva in front of all the factory girls, determined to make her friend dislike her.
When that's not enough, Maria slags off Leanne, and the two women argue.
As Maria is free of her friendship with Eva and able to conduct her affair with Aidan with a clearer conscience, Aidan reveals he has bought a secret second phone that he'll use just to contact her.
But these things rarely stay secret for long in soapland, and Corrie's star-crossed lovers could be headed for disaster sooner than they think...
