Emmerdale spoilers: Rhona Goskirk trashes her house as she lashes out after horrific rape by husband Pierce Harris
Rhona and Pierce are officially over - but that's not the end of the affair as she struggles to cope with the emotional fallout
RHONA Goskirk is on the verge of a breakdown as she trashes her house to cope after Pierce Harris raped her on their wedding night.
Arriving back in Emmerdale after her honeymoon, she admits to Paddy that she and Pierce are over. But that's not the end of the matter as she is still struggling to cope with the emotional fallout of her ordeal.
As Rhona spends her first night alone back at home, she's clearly paranoid about Pierce and terrified of what could be coming next for her.
And it's clear she's running out of coping mechanisms as she trashes her house and destroys all the wedding presents in a bid to be rid of her vile ex.
Vanessa Woodfield finds the house in a state when she goes round to talk to her best friend - but will Rhona reveal what really happened or is she too afraid of Pierce?
Emmerdale fans were horrified when Pierce (Jonanthan Wrather) brutally raped his wife Rhona (Zoe Henry) just hours after their wedding.
A traumatised Rhona then reported the rape to the police, but then left the station as she struggled to cope as the situation dawned on her.
And unbelievably Pierce became even more vile by threatening her son.

She snatched the frame from him and said: “We’re going away – somewhere you can’t find us.”
But Pierce asked what she was going to tell everyone.
He said: “And Leo, he’s going to want to know why I’ve apparently evaporated, as he’s accepted me as part of his… as his part in the proposal, all of that.”
Pierce then said menacingly: “Are you really going to poison him with that awful lie?”
He appeared to give her a knowing look before walking off as she stared after him, scared stiff.
He has also threatened to share their sex tape with the world if she tells the truth about what happened - but will his threats be enough to put her off or will Rhona want to see justice for her vile ex?
