Gigi Hadid and Adriana Lima channel Angelina Jolie at The Met Gala 2017 as Rita Ora and Doutzen Kroes sizzle in scarlet
There was a lot of leg on display at this year’s glittering event
GIGI Hadid and Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima appeared to have taken inspiration from Angelina Jolie at the Met Gala 2017.
The Tomb Raider star’s leggy pose went viral at the 2012 Oscars and it seems the trend caught on again as some of the biggest names in showbiz turned out for the swanky ceremony at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Gigi’s nude Tommy Hilfiger gown was split up to her thigh and the 22-year-old wore fishnet stockings to show off her lithe limbs.
As she posed on the red carpet, she stuck out her leg and channelled Angelina’s now iconic pose.
She wasn’t alone as Adriana, 35, also made a point of showing off her best assets.
The model's incredible pins stole the show as she sashayed her way into the venue.
As the fashionistas struck a pose, Rita Ora led way with her vibrant scarlet gown.
The Hot Right Now star looked sensational as she posed on the blue carpet at the event hosted by US Vogue’s Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour.
Supermodel Doutzen Kroes also opted for red along with a host of other big name stars including Katy Perry, Ashley Graham and Joan Smalls.
Katy, 32, turned heads as she arrived in her futuristic gown on Sunday evening.
