Towie’s Dan Edgar admits romance is on the cards with co-star Lauren Pope after split from Amber Turner and ex Kate Wright’s departure from the show
The reality hunk says he's not sad over Kate's departure as it gives him free reign to 'crack on'
DAN Edgar is pursing a romance with Towie co-star Lauren Pope, admitting he would love to date his former flame following his split from Amber Turner.
The reality hunk says he’s not sad over ex-girlfriend Kate Wright’s departure from the show, as it gives him the chance to “crack on" with Lauren.
Lauren returned to the ITVBe show during last night’s season finale where she appeared close to Dan at his Malibu themed party.
Amber was forced to leave the birthday bash early as she looked unimpressed at Dan's flirty behaviour with Lauren.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun’s Bizarre column he said: "Lauren is stunning obviously.
“I’m going to take her for a drink for sure.
“I have always got on with her. We had a little fling before and ended on good terms – so we will see.

“I wouldn’t say I’m sad about Kate leaving. She came on it not long after me – it makes it less awkward for me not having to film with my ex all the time and it means I’m free to crack on.”
Dan cleared the air with Kate during her final scene on the reality show, telling his ex “there’s no need for us to argue anymore.”
It was revealed that Dan shared a snog with Chloe Lewis during this series and that he enjoyed a secret romance with Lauren.
He also briefly dated newcomer Amber Turner following the end of her relationship with Jamie Reed.
Amber was forced to hit back at trolls campaigning to get her sacked after insulting viewers with her on-screen behaviour.
But Dan insists Amber doesn’t mean to offend her co-stars, as he confirms their romance is officially over.
Speaking at the MCK Grill launch he said: “I always said from day one to Amber I wanted to stay single.
“I told her not to split up with Jamie because of me. I was sort of seeing her for a little bit but it was nothing serious. We are just friends now.
“I don’t see anything blossoming in the future if I’m honest.”
Despite his on-screen antics Dan insists he’s not a womaniser, as he claims to be enjoying his life for the first time in years as a single man.
He added: “I do not consider myself a player at all.
“For the first time in ages I have been properly single and I am enjoying it. I was in a relationship for a long time; summer is coming and I am going to stay single for that.”
