New mum Amy Childs has turned her placenta into a face cream

NEW mum Amy Childs' has had her placenta turned into a face cream.
The former Towie star posted a snap of the unusual post-natal aid on her Instagram on Friday.
Amy, 26, received a tub of face cream and balm from company Placenta Plus which turns the placenta into capsules, balm and cream.
Some believe the nutrients passed from mother to foetus during her nine months of pregnancy are still packed inside the organ - and shouldn't be binned.
Eating the raw placenta could help the mum recover from giving birth and boost her strength while breastfeeding, according to the theory.
Others believe that it can even help tackle post-natal depression in new mums while the face cream contains stem cells and collagen for the skin.
Amy and her boyfriend Bradley Wright has their first baby, a girl, on April 30.
After a few hours rest, Amy took to Instagram to post a picture of her holding her little girl's tiny hand.
She captioned it: "Welcome to the world my beautiful daughter."
Amy has yet to reveal what she's called her newborn although previously admitted she's drawn up a shortlist of five.
She told Loose Women back in March: "Brad chose two and I chose the rest – but we’re going to wait until she’s here before we decide."
