‘Bee Gee Maurice Gibb is my dad’ claims musician – and he’s begging surviving brother Barry to help prove it
Nick Endacott said he has a "right to know" who his dad is
A MUSICIAN has claimed that he is the secret lovechild of Bee Gee member Maurice Gibb and is begging the only surviving brother Barry Gibb to help confirm they are related.
Nick Endacott has said his aunt dropped the bombshell that he might be related to one of Britain's most famous musical families.
The 49-year-old has alleged that as a baby he was adopted after being given away by his mum Patti Nolder who was associated with some of the biggest names in pop music in the sixties, .
Nick has also claimed that Maurice's widow, Yvonne, initially said she would be happy for a DNA test to be carried out but has since withdrew permission.
He said he was "gobsmacked" when he was told.
Nick added: "It was the last thing I expected.
"I just want to know the truth - and know who I am.
"I know people will think I'm doing this for money or some claim to the Gibb estate, but I'm not."
Nick also said he has a "right to know" who his dad is.

Nick also said he has written three letters to Maurice's brother Barry, begging for help as he is the only living brother.
Maurice died in 2003 due to complications of a twisted intestine.
His twin, Robin, died in 2012 from liver and kidney failure.
Nick is also concerned about his health and believes he has a right to know if he is Maurice's son in case he suffers similar genetic health complications.
His mother Patti said her son's claims were "all lies".
