MICHELLE Keegan has revealed she has "a totally different perspective on life" after filming BBC drama Our Girl in Nepal.
The actress played Lance Corporal Georgie Lane in the high-octane drama and has reprised her role for the third series.
Michelle, 29, took to Instagram to share a picture of her smiling on the steps of a stunning temple.
She captioned the snap: "Last day in Nepal... what an amazing eye opening journey. Coming away with a totally different perspective on life. Feeling very blessed and thankful. #itsthelittlethings #glasshalffull #ourgirl3 🎬".
Last week, Michelle met her castmates for a read-through of the upcoming series before they flew to Nepal for the first leg of filming, which will take up to eight months.
Michelle shared the snap on her magazine blog and it was later posted by the BBC as excitement rises among fans for the new series.
Michelle wrote: "Here we all are at the read through. The scripts and story for the next series is fantastic, we were all buzzing afterwards."
She added that she will be away for three months before coming home to attend some events and then she'll be flying out once again.

It's set to be a long shoot for the 29-year-old as both training and filming for the new series will take eight months.
As well as Nepal, the Manchester native will travel to Malaysia and South Africa meaning lengthy spells away from husband Mark Wright.
However, Mark, 30, has a busy summer ahead with work commitments in Essex, Spain and LA.
The Sun also exclusively revealed that Mark has landed a huge role on massive US programme, Extra.
Michelle recently gave fans the first look at the new script for the upcoming series as she reunited with her co-stars for the first read-through.
Sharing a snap of the script on a table, with her name card and highlighters also in the shot as she prepared to get down to work.
The excited actress captioned the image: "She's back!!! Read-through today for the next series of 'Our Girl'! #georgielane #exciting #letsgo @bbcone."
In the last series, Georgie was forced to confront her feelings for her ex-boyfriend Elvis (Luke Pasqualino) while her fiance Jamie (Royce Pierreson) waited for her back home.
By the end of the series, the love triangle that had emerged still hadn’t been resolved.
The 29-year-old actress took over from Lacey Turner, who played the lead character in the first series of Our Girl.
Tony Grounds, the show's creator, has promised that the series will take a turn when it returns to our screen.
, he revealed that the show will focus on emergency disaster relief as opposed to the brink of war.
He added: "I'm going to be looking where the natural disasters are and where the British Army's involved."
It's also been teased that Lacey Turner could return to the new series, and Tony said that if Lacey wanted to come back "all she had to do was ring him."
