Towie’s Megan McKenna says friendship with Chloe Meadows is over FOREVER as she slams ex-BFF for using her for fame and ‘playing the victim’
MEGAN McKenna has insisted her friendship with ex-BFF Chloe Meadows is over for good, before slamming her for "playing the victim" and using her for "storylines".
The Towie beauty has been caught in a series of angry rows with Chloe, and now she's slammed her former pal - vowing they'll never make amends.
Now Megan has exclusively told the Sun Online: “I don't know why she [Chloe] even bothered with wanting to be my friend. They only showed part of that argument and I looked a b***h.
“But the truth is she only messages me during the show and even then it is only so she can use it as a storyline.
“I don't believe she genuinely wants to repair our friendship.”
The pair first fell out following a disagreement over Megan's on-off romance with Pete Wicks, but it's escalated since and now they barely speak.
Megan added: “She's never actually been there for me.
“When I found out about Pete cheating in Marbella she could have come see to make sure I was alright. "That's what real friends do. But instead she sent me a message just so she didn't look bad.
“That's not a friendship from me. I don't want none of it. I'm better off without her.
“Our friendship is definitely finished.
“It's just that she's playing the victim.
“I can't be bothered with her any more. I don't need to let her back into my life.”
Their row during last week's finale came just days after Megan accused Chloe M of interfering with the guest list at the launch of her first restaurant – the McK Grill in Essex.
As Courtney Green declined her invite to the big night, Megan believed the snub was all down to her falling out with Chloe M.
Megan couldn’t hold back her anger and said: “This is why I'm not friends with Chloe Meadows.
“All that s***, girl band broke up and we made it civil.
“Now it’s got to the point where we can go out with Courtney, I've never had a problem with her, I invited everybody [to the launch], but once again [Chloe is] making a massive f***ing song and dance about it... you're not welcome now.”
Megan’s launch was, however, a success – and the star made a touching speech as she deemed the establishment ready for business.
Chloe previously revealed their friendship was over too, and told New! magazine: “Obviously it would be nice to rekindle a friendship, but I feel like we’ve gone so far that we don’t know our way back now.”
