Fans to see inside of George Michael’s Highgate home for first time as Kate Moss takes cameras in for documentary
GEORGE MICHAEL’s final years were shrouded in mystery as he became increasingly reclusive.
Now fans of the late icon will find out how the troubled star really lived — and they’ve got his close mate KATE MOSS to thank.
Kate has been spotted at the property with a film crew for a documentary, titled Freedom, which will take cameras INSIDE George’s north London home for the first time.
The doc was conceived before his death but is now being re-shot to reflect his unexpected passing at Christmas.
Producers hope it will provide the definitive tribute to George, whose death left a raft of unanswered questions about how he spent his life.
A source revealed: “Kate was filming at the house on Monday and the documentary will also feature other major stars who were close to George.

“Kate and George were friends for years and knew each other really well. They lived just a few seconds walk away and Kate would hang out with him.
“She slipped into the house through the back door with the crew to avoid causing a scene as there are still fans who go there to pay tribute. Everything was kept very hushed.
“Filming at his home will give fans an insight like never before. Many of them have have never been able to go through the keyhole to see where he actually spent his time.
“Kate hardly ever does interviews, especially not on camera, but this is something she’s really passionate about.
“It’s being made by his best friend David Austin. It will be an incredible tribute to George’s life.”
The documentary, which Sony Music are behind, will air later this year on Channel 4 – having been postponed because of his death.
It also features footage of his final concert performance.
With Kate involved and more stars still to get involved, it’s bound to be a fascinating watch.
Bey's a tummy mummy
During her first pregnancy BEYONCE hid her bump.
But before the arrival of her and JAY Z’s twins, it seems she’s more than happy to show off her tum.
Bey shared this snap of her growing bump online on Tuesday – her 20th since revealing her baby news in February.
Those little ones can’t be far off.

KASABIAN’s SERGE PIZZORNO has set the record straight after THE CHARLATANS’ TIM BURGESS told the band to “f*** off” on Twitter.
Tim was unimpressed with Kasabian for saying they were one of the only rock bands surviving from the 00s. But Serge hit back: “What was actually said was that when we came out in 2004, the only bands still going now are us and the ARCTIC MONKEYS.
Tim Burgess should read the interview, not the headline.”
But this week Kasabian had bigger fish to fry, the UK’s first ever live music video for track Are You Looking For Action?, which my exclusive pic shows them filming in London on Tuesday.
They are also celebrating that new album For Crying Out Loud is set to become their fifth No1 in a row tomorrow.
Excited to knock ED SHEERAN off the top, Serge joked: “He should buy me a drink, he’s got enough money.”
Top cat Nicole
She has per-formed in the West End but NICOLE SCHERZINGER’s next role could be in cabaret, going by this snap.
The X Factor judge looked like she was ready to provide the evening’s entertainment at Los Angeles restaurant Craig’s on Tuesday, thanks to her smart outfit complete with stylish hat.
But rather than getting ready to put on a show, she was out with pals, whose restaurant visit went on for more than two hours.
The former PUSSYCAT DOLL is dragging her heels over committing to another series of SIMON COWELL’s TV singing contest as she weighs up a role in the planned film adaptation of Wicked, which I revealed last month she was involved in.
It would be Scher-mazing if she decided to stay on.
Kay ad novel idea
PETER KAY must be getting plenty of dough for his role in the new Warburtons bread ad.
I told last week how he has followed in the footsteps of SYLVESTER STALLONE and KERMIT THE FROG by signing as the face of the baker.
The Car Share comic has been persuaded to appear topless in the new advert, which he filmed this week.
He will play Mr Darcy in the clip, loosely based on novel Pride and Prejudice.
It also features a host of ballroom dancers, a vicar and two henchmen.
Don’t think that’s quite how author JANE AUSTEN intended it.
Carpet king
HE spent 30 years laying carpets in Essex but now ROB KNIGHTON has scooped the job of a lifetime – starring alongside JUDE LAW and DAVID BECKHAM in GUY RITCHIE’s latest blockbuster.
After first being scouted in a park at the age of 50 in 2011, Rob has bagged a role in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, which premiered in London last night.
He said: “It’s a bit different to the carpet-laying days. I’m playing the baddie and I have a huge sword fight scene with ERIC BANA. Just to be on set was incredible.”
- JUSTIN BIEBER is set to knock himself off the top spot in the singles chart this week. His catchy remix of LUIS FONSI and DADDY YANKEE’s tune Despacito is racing to No1, overtaking his hit with DJ KHALED, I’m The One.
- KELSEA BALLERINI won’t be writing diss songs about exes, like TAYLOR SWIFT, saying she “hates love songs”. Kelsea, who performed tracks from debut album The First Time in London on Tuesday, is to marry in December.
Biz meter: film
- Brit actor JACK O’CONNELL has been cast in US movie Party Of The Century. The Skins star will join Kick-Ass’s CHLOE GRACE MORETZ and Frozen actor JOSH GAD in the film, based on the star-studded Black and White Ball thrown by author TRUMAN CAPOTE in New York in 1966.
- Prepare for sparks to fly in Disney’s summer blockbuster Cars 3. The new trailer for the animated flick, out on July 14, shows the legendary Lightning McQueen going up against a new and sparkling race car, Jackson Storm, voiced by ARMIE HAMMER.
- He is Hollywood’s highest paid actor but DWAYNE JOHNSON could be set to pack it all in as becoming US president is a “real possibility”. He said: “If I were president, poise would be important. Leadership would be important. Taking responsibility for everybody.”
- STEVE McQUEEN, the man behind 12 Years A Slave, is to direct an authorised documentary about the late rapper TUPAC SHAKUR. On the as-yet-untitled film, he said: “I look forward to working closely with his family to tell the unvarnished story of this talented man.”
