Miley Cyrus embraces a more natural look as she debuts new song Malibu inspired by fiancé Liam Hemsworth
The singer has transformed her image from wild child to natural beauty
MILEY Cyrus is embracing her natural beauty as she relaunches her music career.
The 24-year-old released her new track Miami earlier this week and revealed her new, natural look in the music video.
Miley also dedicated her new single to her fiancé Liam Hemsworth.
The couple split for three years before reuniting in 2016.
Her song Malibu appears to be a tribute to Liam and she explains in the lyrics how three years ago, she never thought she would penning a track about her love for him.
The song continues: “But here I am, next to you.
“We are just like the waves that flow back and forth/ Sometimes I feel like I’m drowning/ And you’re there to save me/ And I want to thank you with all of my heart/ It’s a brand new start/ A dream come true in Malibu.”
In the video for the track, Miley had her long hair styled into natural waves and kept her make up parred back.
In stunning scenes set in front of a beautiful sunset, Miley runs along the beach before showing her vulnerable side next to a waterfall.
The look is a far cry from the Miley her fans saw on her last album Bangerz.
“Suddenly you’re like, ‘I don’t recognise you anymore’. We had to re-fall for each other.”
In the candid interview, Miley also revealed she was drug free and had stopped smoking cannabis.
She said: “I haven’t smoked weed in three weeks, which is the longest I’ve ever [gone without it]. I’m not doing drugs, I’m not drinking, I’m completely clean right now!
“That was just something that I wanted to do.”
