PETE Wicks has confirmed his relationship with Megan McKenna is over after the pair briefly reconciled.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online at , the 28-year-old revealed the pair had ended their relationship for good and were trying to move on with their lives.
Earlier this month, Pete’s good friend Chloe Sims admitted the Towie couple were trying to give their romance another whirl.
But it didn’t work out and now the pair – who’ve been together since early 2016 – have gone their separate ways.
Pete said: “We didn't split up because we didn't care about each other, let's have that right but no, we're not together now. We’re friends and we are civil but we have split up.”

The tattooed hunk made it clear he’s not looking for anyone else either, adding: “I'm not seeing other people and as far as I'm aware Megan's not. It's not in my head space.
“I'm concentrating on myself and I'm not in the mind frame to be thinking about any of that kind of stuff - which sounds like a cop out but it's not.”
The breakdown of Pete and Megan’s relationship played out on the last series of Towie.
From screaming rows on the streets of Essex to Megan crying on the shoulders of her friends.
Pete made it clear the pressure had an effect on them. He explained: “I didn't watch any of the last series. Not one episode.
“It wasn't a good series for me. Worst ever. The break came at the right time.
“There was a lot of arguing and lots of people were falling out, people were getting the hump and doing things that weren't necessarily right.”
The hit ITVBE had its finale earlier this month and now the cast are taking some time away.
Pete said: “We've got a big break now and the break has come at the right time for me. The idea is to come back fresh. I've got a couple of months to do what I want to do and concentrate on myself.”
“I think a lot of people need to concentrate on themselves and stop worrying about things.
“Hopefully we'll all come back and just get on with the new series. A new dawn, a new day - all that stuff.”
