Ore Oduba calls wife Portia his ‘Kate Winslet’ during romantic Cannes trip just days after cosy display with pal Laura Whitmore

Ore Oduba made a sweet comment confirming his wife Portia truly is the apple of his eye while presenting a segment on today’s This Morning.

The Strictly Come Dancing champ gushed over his stunning wife days after he was seen putting on a cosy display with his former Strictly co-star Laura Whitmore at the TV Bafta awards.

The presenter has been busy covering the glamorous events taking place during Cannes Film Festival in recent days and he was on the show to report  back to host Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on Thursday.

As he was introduced and gave viewers a look at his location, he gushed: “Portia is also soaking up the scenery down there, say hi.

“There she is… it’s my Kate Winslet down there everybody.”

Later in the segment he also threw in a cheeky joke as she rang a bell on a yacht, saying: “You can ring my bell any time, baby!”

His gushing comments come after he was seen holding hands with Strictly pal Laura Whitmore while helping her make her way to London’s posh Mondrian hotel.

As they strolled along Laura, 32, placed her hand on 31-year-old Ore’s shoulder as they appeared to share a joke.

Apart from enjoying the glittering TV award ceremony and afterparty, the two also celebrated a year of knowing each other prior to appearing on Strictly Come Dancing together.

And they were more than happy to share their anniversary with fans, as the married sports show host and presenter performed a seductive dance pose and uploaded it to Instagram.

Laura captioned the image: “This day one year ago I met this guy @oreodubaofficial and now I have a friend.. and dance floor buddy for life love ya xx”

While Ore reposted it and added: “I’ll be there to hold your hand for many years to come @thewhitmore #thatswhatfriendsarefor #happyanniversary”

Ore has been married to TV researcher Portia since November 2015.
