As the camera flies over the country, voiceovers can be heard discussing the new series, which will take an “alternative look at Britain”.
In between shots of the UK landscape, title cards are thrown up revealing how one contestant had to marry in secret, while another boasts that another soon-to-be housemate is the heir to a fancy country estate.
Over the top of it all, a series of different voices can be heard saying: “From every corner of the land, to have-nots to have lots, from gamer to game-for-it….This is the United Kingdom of Big Brother - and everyone is welcome.”
The new teaser trailer comes shortly after the new logo was revealed – adding to the theme that the show will be a “culture clash of modern Britain”.
The new Big Brother eye is formed from a multi-coloured Union Jack flag and features a patchwork of eclectic images representing modern Britain.
There’s everything from a polling station – hinting at the upcoming election – to cups of tea and the gates of Buckingham palace.
Channel 5 said: “This summer, Big Brother presents a must-watch culture clash of modern Britain.
“At a time of political upheaval and tough questions about unity in the UK, Big Brother brings you an alternative look at Britain.”
They added that the new series will be a “summer of contrasts, conflicts and collaboration… and more fireworks than you could imagine, as a selection of people, from a range of backgrounds, come together in the ultimate social experiment.

It has been confirmed that Emma Willis is heading back to host, and Rylan Clark-Neal will return for Bit On The Side.
Big Brother will be on Channel 5 later this year.
