EASTENDERS star Jessie Wallace has revealed she doesn't miss playing Kat Slater in EastEnders - and hates it when fans shout her most famous line at her in the street.
The actress' outrageous character was involved in some of the soap's biggest storylines, but arguably her most memorable was her showdown with daughter Zoe in 2001.
Zoe had always believed they were sisters, unaware Kat had given birth to her, and the memorable scene saw her shout: “You can’t tell me what to do…you ain’t my mother,” across the square, before Kat shouted back "Yes I am!"
Opening up on her exit from the soap, Jessie, 45, said her fans still shout the line at her in the street, telling the : “Someone did it yesterday and I just gave them a dirty look.
"When people see me they say ‘Go on… say it, say it’. And I’m just like ‘no’.”

Jessie quit the soap in 2015 and is now starring in spin-off Redwater with her co-star Shane Richie.
She added: “I don’t miss being on EastEnders…not really. As an actor you like to move on and do other stuff. I don’t really miss it at all.”
And it comes after Shane spilled the beans on their new six-part series together, telling TV Magazine: “People ask us: ‘What’s Redwater like?'"
And he added: “Well, we don’t know! There is nothing to compare it to.”
The story is straightforward enough. Two years ago, while still in Walford, Kat discovered that she gave birth to a son, Luke, at the same time as his twin sister Zoe was born.
Kat had blanked out during childbirth and baby Luke was taken from her and adopted by an Irish family.
Now she and Alfie are heading to the fictional village of Redwater (actually Dunmore East) on the south-eastern coast of Ireland as Kat believes her long-lost son lives there.
