Towie’s Lydia Bright says she’d ‘love’ to star on Strictly Come Dancing as she plans her next challenge following The Jump and Bear Grylls
TOWIE star Lydia Bright has set her sights on a spot in the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The reality star has revealed she's keen to follow her success on The Jump and The Island With Bear Grylls, and said her number one TV project would be the dancing show.
Speaking to the Daily Star's TV Life magazine, and asked if she'd consider the show, Lydia said: "I'd love to do it [Strictly]. My brother and I have also been talking about doing the marathon."
James Argent's ex previously cycled round India with Denise Van Outen for charity, and ever since, she's vowed to do an adventure each year to "push her out of her comfort zone".
"I did the Island and the The Jump," she added.
"With The Island I got to raise money for cancer charities. I had my reservations about The Jump because people get injured, but I've always been up for trying new things. Now I'm thinking about 2017."
Lydia recently split from her ex Arg for good, and is no doubt keen to put the dramatic few years behind her for good.
Both her and Gemma Collins were praised by Towie fans in March by choosing to put their friendship first following the discovery Arg had slept with them BOTH on the same day.
Viewers were left hooked as Gemma panicked over running into Lydia following the discovery they had both slept with their ex while they were all away on holiday in Marbella.
But when the moment finally came, it turned out she was panicking over nothing.
A calm Lydia gave Gemma a hug as Bobby Norris looked on stunned, before admitting that while she wasn't "fuming" she was "flabbergasted" at the development.
Gemma then admitted that she would've taken her sex session with the surprise playboy "to her grave" to prevent Lydia getting upset and over worries Lydia and Arg wanted to get back together.
