Who is Rick Edwards?

Rick Edwards, 39, is an English TV presenter who has appeared on a number of Channel 4, E4 and ITV2 shows.

He studied natural sciences at Cambridge University, during which he performed stand-up and sketch shows.

Rick hosted evening radio show The Weekender on Saturdays on XFM until 2009.

In 2011 he presented E4’s Tool Academy which saw frustrated girlfriends enrol their bad boyfriends in a “school” which tried to straighten them out into respectable men.

He co-presented political discussion show Free Speech alongside Tina Daheley in 2012.

In 2015 he began presenting Safeword on ITV2, a panel show which included each celeb taking turns to post embarrassing social media posts onto the other celebrity’s Twitter or Instagram until the guest uses their safeword.

He also presented a documentary on the Fatberg Autopsy, in association with Thames Water.

What is Rick Edwards’ BBC quiz show Impossible about?

!mpossible is a BBC quiz show in which the 30 contestants competing across the series must avoid giving impossible answers to give themselves a chance of winning £10,000.

The winner claims a daily prize of up to £1,500, and faces one final question.

There are three correct answers – and if they can find them all, they will trigger a cascade of 10,000-pound coins. But if any of their answers are !mpossible, they lose the daily prize and win nothing.

When is Impossible Celebrities on TV?

Series two of the celebrity version of game show Impossible airs on Saturdays at 5pm on BBC One.

Tonight’s show (Saturday, March 23) features The Greatest Dancer’s Jordan Banjo and comedian Lucy Porter.

18 celebs will compete in the quiz show to raise money for charity.

Rick Edwards married former EastEnders actress Emer Kenny in 2016.

Emer played Zsa Zsa Carter in the BBC soap for almost a year until September 2010 and appeared in spin-off EastEnders: E20.

She has since appeared in BBC Three’s Pramface as Danielle Reeves, Badults as Rachel and Father Brown as Bunty Windermere.
