Eva Longoria shows off her figure in sheer slashed dress as a busty Barbara Palvin and Rita Ora join her on the Cannes red carpet
The actress pulled out all the stops on Tuesday when it came to her latest red carpet look
EVA Longoria showed off her figure on the red carpet at Cannes today.
The former Desperate Housewives actress wore a high necked, long sleeved shimmering black dress to attend the Film Festival’s 70th anniversary soiree.
But despite the amount of fabric covering her body, Eva was still able to flash the flesh thanks to the slashed sheer fabric detailing down the sides of the garment.
The 42-year-old added dramatic smokey eye makeup and had her long hair kept back off her face in a middle parting and hanging down her back.
Eva was joined on the red carpet by supermodel Barbara Palvin, who also opted for a black dress.
The 23-year-old wore a low cut jewel-encrusted dress, with the sweetheart neckline dipping right down to her naval.
At one point, Barbara clutched her own breasts as she posed on the red carpet, before pulling a series of funny faces for the paparazzi.
Singer Rita Ora also got cheeky, sticking her tongue out as she made her way up the steps to the venue after posing on the red carpet in a pale pink gown.
The halterneck dress also had a cold shoulder detail, with the fabric hanging to the floor once it past Rita’s hands.
The garment was adorned with intricate bead detailing, with the lightweight fabric offering a glimpse of the 26-year-old’s legs.
Also in attendance was Diane Kruger, 40, who looked stunning in a delicate grey gown which featured a tiered skirt and floral embellishment on the bodice.
As the actress turned, she revealed a lace up back, and finished her look off with a double choker combination.
Elle Fanning also wore a beautiful dress, with the 19-year-old stunning onlookers in her pretty floral gown.
The actress grinned and tucked her hair behind her ear before heading up the stairs, allowing her dress to flow behind her.
British actress Kristin Scott Thomas also opted for a full skirted dress, looking radiant in a pink thin strapped gown.
Pink was also the colour of choice for Kill Bill actress Uma Thurman, who wore a baby pink 60s style dress with an unusual dipped hem complete with feathers.
The 47-year-old wore her blonde hair in a side fringe and carried a bold pink box clutch as she blew a kiss to the crowds.
While there was lots of colour on the red carpet, a number of stars opted for classic black, including Oscar winner Charlize Theron.
The 41-year-old wore a sheer gown which featured mesh sleeves and neckline and showcased a lace catsuit underneath.
Charlize obviously felt fantastic in the unusual outfit, as she posed confidently with her hands on her hips, showing off her bling bracelets at the same time.
Tilda Swinton also chose the dark hue, looking fantastic in a sparkling, wide-legged jumpsuit.
The 56-year-old wore her white blonde hair in a quiff and added a slick of red lipstick for a pop of colour.
Another fan of black as Mischa Barton, 31, who wore a low cut gown with a jagged hemline.
With her hair styled in classic Hollywood waves, the actress added a statement necklace and earrings as well as a pair of high heeled mules to complete her look.
At the complete opposite end of the spectrum was Jessica Chastain, who wore a striking burnt orange silk gown.
The dress featured featured a train and bow detailing at the back and complimented the actress’ red hair.
Nicole Kidman looked younger than her 49 years in a bohemian style patterned gown.
With her blonde hair styled in loose waves, Nicole looked delighted to be on the red carpet as she greeted supermodel Naomi Campbell with a big hug.
The women held hands as they chatted and posed for a picture together, with Naomi showing off her model physique in a black lace dress which featured a feathered skirt and train.
Not to be outdone, French actress Marion Cotillard oozed sexiness and glamour in her navy sparkling gown.
The dress featured a dramatic pointed neckline, offering a glimpse of her cleavage, while the thigh high split added extra sass points for the new mum, who gave birth to her second child earlier this year.
