Mama June channels Marilyn Monroe as she shows off her 21 stone weight loss alongside daughter Honey Boo-Boo

MAMA June is having a Marylin Monroe moment after losing an incredible 21 stone.
The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star revealed her new UK size 8 figure at the beginning of April after more than a year of exercise and operations including a gastric sleeve and skin removal to reach her goal body.
But now she has stunned on a red carpet in a slinky red dress at the premiere for Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta seemingly channelling screen siren Marilyn Monroe.
Mama June appeared at the event with her daughter Alana, better known as reality star Honey Bo Boo.
The reality star's dramatic transformation was covered on TV show From Not to Hot, which showed her try to get a "revenge body" in the run up to her ex Sugar Bear's wedding.
At her heaviest, Mama weighted a staggering 33 stone.
She told cameras: “It makes me feel really good to show other people this is what I’ve always thought of myself and that my inside hadn’t changed, like my giving and outgoing and loving personality that was there when I was there.
“It’s just a little bit more out there.”

During the course of the show, Mama June Shannon has been aided by a personal trainer and her manager on her mission to get slimmer.
Her daughters Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson and Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon also supported her throughout her efforts - although were left worrying after surgery to remove excess skin lasted FIVE HOURS.
It came as a bittersweet moment for the reality star, and she admitted: “I’m ready to get the surgery over with and remove my turkey neck, but I’m kind of going to miss my turkey neck – it’s more famous than I am!”
In another episode, the star was left reeling in pain following another fat removal surgery and she hid herself away in her room and refused to leave her bed as she decided to give up on her goal after the surgery left her feeling ‘like Frankenstein’.
