With a mission to deliver vaccines to Kenyan kids, Julia and Bear were forced to cross a river full of crocodiles with a rickety rope bridge the only way through.

Branding Bear's idea to scale the flimsy-looking rope "a terrible plan", Julia said, "I'm too afraid right now."

She told the camera: "We’ve come to a bridge that crosses a river full of crocs.

"I'm just [dripping] with sweat due to nerves. I'm very afraid of heights and I always have been."

Her nerves weren't eased by Bear's worries over the strength of the hemp rope bridge.

But she managed to make it across, despite her companion pointing out a hungry croc in the river during her journey.

She told Bear: "I don't know if we're gonna be best friends now, or if this is the end for us."

But Julia 49, kept her sense of humour as she gamely tucked into some goat brain matter after Bear cooked the animal over a fire.

She quipped: "Do you think it will make me smarter if I eat it?

She said: "I don't know anything and that makes me nervous and I don't know anything and that makes me excited."

Luckily the duo made it to their destination, with the actress helping to administer vaccine drops to families in need.

Julia said: "So many children turned up to be vaccinated. Everybody wants to do whatever they can to protect their children. This place is no different from anyplace else."
