BIG Brother bosses have hinted its new housemates will be living naked in its "extremely revealing" 2017 series.

A new advert, which gives blurry glimpses of possible housemates - some of which appear topless - has left fans convinced they'll be watching a crop of photogenic housemates in the buff when the series kicks off on June 5.

Could this be a contestant, or just a hint about housemates stripping off?

Some of the slow motion shots in the promo clip show hunky blokes and pouting women, some looking in the mirror and others preening themselves.

And if the ad is to be believed, none of the contestants this year will be wallflower types, to say the least.

The voiceover in the ad says: "Get ready because this year Big Brother is getting extremely revealing."

Viewers on Twitter have been analysing the advert for clues, ahead of the United Kingdom Of Big Brother series, which is just over a week away.

Rumoured contestants for this "civilian" series currently include X Factor's Bratavio, former BB star Nikki Grahame Brian Dowling, The Cheeky Girls and cocaine smugglers The Peru Two.

But some fans have suggested that the ad suggests the show will be populated purely by Love Island, Towie, Geordie Shore and Ex On The Beach stars.

This has upset TV addicts who who like watching "quirky" characters on the Channel5 show rather than beautiful ones.

"It's a personality contest!" one blasted.

Another wrote: "It was at its best when it had real people in it.. years ago!"

A third commented: "Are you sure this is bb? Looks a hell lot like Love Island."

However, one fan reminded the others that only a few contestants are "revealed" in the promo, writing: "You could see like 4/5 people. That's it. Theres an unconfirmed 16. So it's all good."

We already know that one contestant in the new series is "heir to a country estate" and another "had to marry in secret".

Meanwhile the Celebrity Big Brother series, which follows the "normal" one, may feature former TV presenter John Leslie.

Big Brother returns on June 5, 2017 at 8.30pm on Channel 5.
