Another famous face from the Cobbles was Sally Dynevor who posed for snaps with former co-star Denise Welch.

The cast's participation in the event comes days after it was revealed Coronation Street would be dedicating a bench on the main set to the 22 victims of the bombing.

Announcing the news on Twitter, bosses of the ITV soap shared an image of a floral tributes and candles, left in memory of the people who tragically lost their lives in the attack.

There is already a bench outside the Rovers Return pub dedicated to the late fictional character Maxine Peacock.

The news follows a passionate statement from Sally, who plays Sally Webster, about the attacks calling for love to overcome hate at such a terrible time.
