Liam Gallagher Manchester terror attack tribute moves crowd as he sings Live Forever and places 22 candles on stage
The former Oasis frontman stormed on stage to defiant cheers from concert-goers who chanted in honour for those killed in the atrocity
LIAM Gallagher sang Live Forever and placed 22 candles on stage as he played his first-ever solo gig just a week after the Manchester bombing.
The former Oasis frontman stormed on stage to defiant cheers from concert-goers, who chanted "stand up for the 22" in honour of those killed in a suicide attack at an Ariana Grande gig last Monday.
During the gig, Liam was roared on by the devastated city as he yelled: "We're all doing it together."
He added: "Normal business has been resumed," before playing chart toppers Rock 'n' Roll Star, What's the Story Morning Glory and ended on an acoustic version of Live Forever.
But fans desperate for a reunion with brother Noel were left disappointed as the younger Gallagher played alone throughout.
