BGT hopeful Reuben Gray plans to give away almost half of the prize money to charity if he wins

KIND-hearted BGT hopeful Reuben Gray is planning to give nearly half of the prize money away if he wins the show.

The singer songwriter, 16, wants to give £100,000 of the £250,000 pot to charities which helped bereaved children of military parents.

The youngster - who wowed the judges at his initial audition by performing one of his own songs - is the son of former Army officer Toby Gray who served in Afghanistan in the Coldstream Guards.

A source said: “For Reuben he wanted to do the show to get his music to a wider audience.

“While the payday is nice - he wants to use his appearance for a greater good and is planning to give nearly half of the prize to military charities.
