Tamara Ecclestone reveals she breastfeeds her daughter Sophia 3, four times a day – and won’t stop until she doesn’t want it anymore
The heiress says she does what works for her family
TAMARA Ecclestone has revealed she still breastfeeds her three-year-old daughter Sophia four times a day.
And the heiress, 32, says she'll only stop when the youngster decides she's had enough.
She told : "I never want to battle, to feel I've taken something away from her, so when she decides she is done, it will be the end of that era."
Tamara still breastfeeds Sophia in the morning, once or twice during the day and once in the evening before bed.
She added: "You know your child and you have to do what works for you as a family."
Tamara remains defiant after coming under fire from mums for posting pictures of herself breastfeeding Sophia.
She said: "I ignore the occasional nasty comment as I have so many nice messages from other mums.
"There is no right way or wrong way when it comes to parenting."
Earlier this year, Tamara defended her choice to breastfeed during an appearance on Good Morning Britain.
Speaking on the show back in February, Tamara told host Kate Garraway: “It’s the natural way. Everything just feels right. When you’re a mum you should trust your instincts.”
The billionaire heiress added: “The natural way is up until four-and-a-half years but I don’t know if she will get to that. It depends if she has outgrown it… she’s not going to go to university and still be on my nipple.”
During the revealing interview Tamara went on to explain: “She’s not on my breast all day every day – but I’m not prepared to take it away from her… I will never feel uncomfortable about such a natural act.”
Meanwhile, Tamara revealed she's eager to add to her family.
She said: "I do definitely want to have another child because I think it is so nice to have a sibling.
"Jay would definitely like more children. I think he'd like a little boy to take to football!"
